Parliamentarians Debate Queen’s Speech

During the Foreign Affair and Defence debate on 26 May following the Queen’s speech, Foreign Secretary William Hague responded to matters relating to nuclear issues, included questions on Iran and North Korea, the NPT Review Conference, a nuclear-free Middle East and the options for the renewal of Trident. MPs Jeremy Corbyn, David Miliband, Menzies Campbell and Mike Gapes in the House of Commons, and Baroness Miller of Chilthorne Domer and Baroness Williams of Crosby in the House of Lords, put forward their points of view regarding the new government’s plans for the future.
